About Me

I live in the UK.  I am in my Late 30’s.  Married with children.

I lost over 4 stone ( in American i think this is 56-60lbs) and i went from a uk size 18/20 to  size 10.  It took me 18 months.

My motivation was going on holiday with one of  my best friends, who is skinny and lovely, i didn’t want to be the fat mate!

Not all diets work for everyone, there are lots of choices out there and this is only one of many.  I have tried, shakes, weight watchers, slimming world etc, all very short-lived.

The thing is i would eat and eat and eat, wish i was thin, but lack the motivation to do anything.  I envied people o the front of magazines who proclaimed they had lost 4 dress sizes in a year.  i would think to myself  ‘this time next year i could be her’ and then i stuck a packet of crisp in my mouth.

it’s hard and it takes determination, but most of all it the attitude change, the acceptance that this isn’t a short-term fix.  It’s a lifetime. a lifestyle change.   The only person who can make you thin, is you.

The most important thing to realise with this programme is that it isn’t low-calorie or low-fat.  this method is based solely on your body eating its energy reserves – the fat store.

so if you don’t follow it to the letter…if you don’t take it seriously.  You wont lose weight.  It is very strict.  You can’t just have one crisp, one chip, one boiled sweet.  because it does make the difference.

Good luck!
